Guess you know what? Building a strong faith couples with resilience hard work pays all that its requires and to remain focus, been proactive in all your endeavors, this is the case of our lovely brother, Officer Olasunkanmi Abel Ayeni. Little did I Know, but permit me to quickly chip-in the little that I Know about him, I could vividly remember our precious time spent together back in the days while in Kwara State precisely Erukucity down to Ilorin, Kwara State Polytechnic.

How the journey began…

Part of the little that I Know about this gentle, handsome easygoing dude from hometown fondly called Sunkanmi Ayeni. This young man that I Know, he’s never a trouble maker, very deeply rooted in kingdom services, a man that sometimes will be going through challenges of life and he will never complained neither you will ever see him uttering a statement to anybody but would rather channeled his compliant through God as he loves to always placed all his troubles/burden hearts before God and this has been his way of life that makes him to go thus far in the race of life. How do I mean? He’s someone that will be going through some unpalatable situations yet will always finding a lasting solutions to other’s problems, fellow human being especially people around him, I sees him as a problem solver/solutions. Sunkanmi Ayeni remains a faith builder, guess you’re not even aware of his past good antecedents? Now let me share by boggling your minds with the little that I know, moment after his School leaving certificate, he waited some years before gaining admission into Polytechnic all because he loves and wanted to attend any reputable varsity in Nigeria or within his jurisdictions even when all his secondary school mates reportedly gained admission into some higher institutions,

Sunkanmi never bothered, he remains focused and optimistic, I could also remembered it took some of his brothers, uncles, friends and relatives’ prompt intervention before he finally succumbed to attend a Polytechnic within the state of Harmony. What an intelligent and brilliant Sunkanmi who still maintain his humble beginnings status till date.

The second phase of his journey continues again, just moment after his Higher National Diploma HND from Kwara State Polytechnic as an Accountant he wasn’t stopped there as he promptly went straight for his Post Graduate programs PGD, MBA and ANIPR

One day, my humble self and Officer Olasunkanmi Abel Ayeni met under bridge Ikeja, Lagos State that was far back in the year 2009 I was on a yellow shirt and pant black trouser with tie heading to my working place where I was obtaining stipends that people called ‘peanut’ guess what? Sunkanmi actually came to Lagos in order to seek for an employment, we met and we exchanged pleasantries, you know the spirit/blood running veins of Omo Ilu naah. Smiles… I shouted boda Sunkanm from afar as I ran towards his direction/path, hugged him at the same time trying to prostrated before him and not minding passerby. In his lovely smooth, cool voice with a smiling face on him, he responded in our dialect “Seun, Seun. Okun aburom omoolouwa arokun, ku ise”…. Blabla we discussed for few minutes. Imagine someone who was looking for an employment who might have trekked some miles, surprisingly, he gave me a word of encouragement that has been my watch words till today. In his statement… Sunkanmi said to me “Seun I’m happy I met you in Lagos, please never you run faster than your shadow, don’t be in haste, always seek for Gods directions in all that you do, remember God has a very good plan for you, you’re destined for greatness and never believe your mate has gone far ahead of you and because of that to look for how to cut corners, never. I repeat Never!!! Anyways I trust you, please hold my words tight and firmly as you know I’m still looking/searching for jobs I would have given you something” we both smiles… As we’re about departing from each other I just squeezed something into his side pocket. Do you want to know what was that? Story for another day.
