Faseun’s Death, End of an Era -Dapo Abiodun

The passing of the founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr. Frederick Faseun has ended another memorable chapter in the history of Yoruba nation considering his invaluable contributions especially in the areas of political emancipation and security.

In his message on the death of the respected elder statesman, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR expressing his grief, described late Dr. Faseun as a courageous, vibrant, and an uncompromising fighter who hugely influenced and inspired his people in the quest for modern autonomy and gave voice to the Yoruba race in Nigerian nationhood.

His remarkable legacies in the area of self determination and impact on the socio-political well being of the Yoruba people mark him out as a distinguished son of Oduduwa who paid his dues for the progress and overall development of his people.
