First Bank of Nigeria Limited says it is committed to supporting the growth of the economy.
As a result, the bank said it was set to support the 35th edition of Lagos international Trade Fair.
The lender, in a statement, said its existing and prospective customers would benefit from its financial advisory services, Internet and mobile banking and other services during the 10-day fair.
The trade fair, beginning on Friday, will have participants from Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, India, Egypt, Chad and Niger Republic in attendance, according to the bank.
It gave the theme of this year’s edition as: ‘Enhancing value addition in the non-oil economy.’
“Over the years, the fair has attracted both local and foreign exhibitors and has continued to provide avenue for various trade groups and professionals to present new products and ideas as well as tap into business opportunities that exist in the country,” the statement said.
It quoted the Group Managing Director, First Bank, Mr. Bisi Onasanya, as saying that the bank was proud to be a sponsor of the trade fair, adding that the move had demonstrated its commitment to promoting trade and development in the nation.
