Five shot dead ,many injured in Gberigbe

 

No fewer than 5 persons have been shot dead,many injured at Igbokuta/Gberigbe community,Ikorodu Area, Lagos State.

Sahara weekly reporter gathered that the alleged land invasion crisis since May 19th was sponsored by one Chief Gbenga Daraloun Mayan and Kamorudeen Lamina aka Sir K Oluwo a notorious land grabber.

The attacked was after the arrest of two police officers who claimed they are from Special Force Unit of Nigeria Police by Intelligence Response Team (IRT) Abuja yesterday .

 

 

The officers were among over 15 officers who were illegally stationed in the community since May by the two alleged suspects who had been the brain behind the crisis leaving many families and residents homeless.

It was learnt that re-attacks were suspected boys of Sir k and some groups cultists member who have been on rampage in the community.

Our correspondent who visited the community narrowly escaped  the attacks that lead to the death of the following persons, Lateef Ade, Mutiu Balogun,Hameed Idris aka Baba Raji and two others.
