Free Medical Screening: Vickie Robert Foundation Visits Agbo Malu, Queen’s Barrack In Apapa

As Vickie Robert Foundation, United Kingdom and Nigeria continues their humanitarian activities in Nigeria, the team has again visited two different communities in Lagos over the weekend.
The team headed by Ambassador Victoria Okere, was in Nigeria recently and carried out a lot of free medical screenings across the country.

Over the weekend, VRF team in conjunction with Arms of Comfort Foundation, a community based organization, owned by Pastor Sam Afolabi Adeboye, visited Agbo Malu, a very vulnerable Hausa community in Apapa, Lagos and Queen’s Police Barrack also in Apapa, Lagos State, for free medical screenings. 
The team, assisted by Mr Kazeem Adejumo, the Program Officer  for Arms of Comfort Foundation, got to the two communities as early as 8:00 am, to sensitize them on the need for them to do regular checkup and ensure they don’t consume things that could harm them.

Residents of Queen’s Barrack trooped out to meet the team and were all screened and given materials to help them in managing and maintaining their health.

After the team of medical experts on VRF’s train had answered their various questions, ranging from managing High Blood Pressure during family planning to other private issues, the team then carried out various screening on them.
At Agbo Malu, Seriki of the community, Alhaji Ali Ibrahim Mai-lalle who is the Sarkin Hausawa of Apapa commended the zealousness of Vickie Robert Foundation and encouraged them to keep the good works going.

It could be recalled that the team also carried out an historical feat at villages of Sapeyi in Garki FCT, Abuja and Sauka-Kahuta, Lugbe also in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja recently with free medical mission, screened and given medication and advice on how to manage hypertension at the palace of Sapeyi of Garki FCT, Abuja, Alhaji Dr. Chief Usman Ngakupi.
