Frequencie Hails #EndSARS Campaigners As IGP Bans SARS From Patrol
Afro Rockstar and Human Rights Activist, Frequencie has hailed #EndSARS campaigners as Inspector General of Police banned Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and Special Tactical Squad from routine patrols.
Frequencie in a statement issued on Monday said the intensive pressure from Nigerians forced IGP Mohammed Adamu to issue fresh directives.
Frequencie who has consistently raised his voice against unprofessional conduct and killing of innocent Nigerians by SARS, said the loud voice of #EndSARS campaigners and strategic calls to higher authorities compel the Police to take action.

He however noted that the ban on patrol alone would not address the injustice, maiming and unnecessary killing of innocent Nigerians by Police officers and called for thorough investigation and prosecution of officers culpable in killing of innocent Nigerians in the past five years.
The Afro Rockstar based in North Central insisted that punishing erring officers will serve as strong warning to others engaging in unprofessional and inhumane conduct.

Recall that Frequencie on June 12, 2020 urged President Muhammadu Buhari to end police brutality to avoid repeat of George Floyd saga in Nigeria as killing of the African American by Police in Minneapolis sparks Black Lives Matter protest across cities in United States earlier this year.
The Wazobia crooner also advised Political Office Holders joining #EndSARS to go beyond social media and make moves to reform Nigeria Police Force as well as introduce reorientation for security officers nationwide.
”This is off and on #EndSARS campaign will not end the brutality or raise hundred of innocent Nigerians that lost their lives to SARS unprofessional conduct. We must call for holistic approach to this barbaric act of our law enforcement agencies. SARS are killing innocent Nigerians daily, exploiting people doing their legitimate business and harassing tax payers on the highways with ammunition probed with public funds.” He explained
