Gardner Beats SS3 Student to death in Lagos

Iponri Police divisional station received a complaint from Jubril Martins Memorial Grammar School Iponri that on 15/05/2019 at about 4.40pm one Femi Aderonmu m’ a gardener with the School engaged one Adagun Rafiu m’
16yrs old, SSS 3 student in a fight along Oke-Olu road Iponri.

In the process the student fell down and became unconscious and was rushed to Smith Medical Hospital where he later died. The incident happen on 16/05/2019 at about 2.40pm

According to eye witness, he accounts on how the deceased was coming back home with his friends after writing his WAEC Exams the suspect blocked him on the way to confront the deceased that he insulted him previously.

Sahara weekly learnt that immediately the suspect engage the deceased on a fight which he push him down the deceased became unconscious and later give up .

The suspect is cooling down his heels with homicide detectives from State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba for interrogation while they have visited the Crime scene, corpse of the deceased is deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.

DSP Bala Elkana, the command spoke person disclosed that suspect is arrested and will be charged to Court for murder.
