‘God will flush out Buhari, 22 Governors who attended wedding in Kano’ – Tunde Bakare fumes over Dapchi Girls

The Serving Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has said for being insensitive, God will sweep out top politicians, including President Muhammadu Buhari and 22 State Governors, who attended the wedding of the children of Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State in Kano last weekend.

Bakare, in a sermon on Sunday, a day after the wedding, said it was insensitive for Buhari and the governors to gather for an elaborate wedding when 110 schoolgirls from Dapchi in Yobe State were still missing.

The schoolgirls were abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents on February 19, 2018.
The wedding in Kano was between Idris, son of Ajimobi, and Fatima, Ganduje’s daughter.
In the sermon, Bakare said: “I don’t really understand what’s going on.
“I don’t.
“And I’m just asking people to explain to me.
“I was in South Africa when 110 girls were abducted the same way it happened one year before election.
“Is it an accident or is it a mere coincidence?
“That exactly about one year to another election, 110 girls were abducted again?
“And as if they were not citizens’ daughters, in the season we are still looking for them, a governor’s daughter and son got married and 22 governors and the President went there.
‘Are they sensitive at all?
“And it is front page of newspapers. That it doesn’t matter what happens to other people’s daughters.
“You can spend that moment to conduct your own children’s wedding and you all left your states to go there to appear front page of newspapers, something is wrong.
“And when judgement will begin, God will sweep them all off (loud shout of Amen).
“I know we must rejoice with those who rejoice and we must mourn with those who mourn.
“(In Yourba): Ha ha, e ti e ri ise kan kan se mo (Ha ha, so you don’t have any work to do again)?
“I don’t understand.
“Something is wrong.
“Something has stolen the minds of these people.
“But before they drown us, God will deliver us, in Jesus mighty name.”
