Be Good Ambassadors to Islám, NASFAT – Worldwide President Told Abuja New Exco

The newly inaugurated members of the

Abuja branch executive of the Faith-based

organisation, Nasirul-Lahi-I-Faith Society of

Nigeria (NASFAT) have been charged to be

good ambassadors of Islam, NASFAT and to

serve the society with the fear of Allah in

order to ensure outstanding success within

the next two years.

The Worldwide President, Engr. Kamil Yomi

Bolarinwa who was represented by the

National Vice President II, Alhaji Abdulrauf Ayodeji made this appeal in Abuja on Sunday during the inauguration of new executive for Abuja branch of the society.

According to him, all leaders would give account of their stewardships on the Day of Judgement, added that the tasks before the new exco are enormous, that they should bear in minds that they are going to be Faced with challenges.

“The tasks before you are challenging and you must bear in mind that you are going to be faced with lots of challenges on your ways. Some will insult you, some will abuse you, but I want to advise you don’t be discouraged. This is a selfless service to Allah and it is only Almighty Allah that can reward you.”

He charged the newly inaugurated executive

to be apolitical saying that NASFAT is a

religious organisation guided by constitution

and it is purely stated in the constitution to

be apolitical.

He said: “If NASFAT had been involving

itself in politics, the name of the

organisation would have been rubbished by

now; we do personal contributions to

achieve all we have achieved today, we

rejected money from government and that is

the reason why the organisation has

maintained its standpoint today.”

He however warned that nobody should use

the name of the organisation for personal

gains or what is not contained in its

constitution.

Earlier in his welcome address, the zonal

chairman, Barr. S. O. Q. Giwa expressed

gratitude to the outgoing members of the

executive and the entire members for their

support and contribution to the progress of

NASFAT, he enjoined the new executive to

ensure prompt and adequate information

dissemination to members on regular basis.

This, according to him, would encourage

members to always cooperate and support

various programmes of the society.

The outgoing chairman, Dr Nasir Raji while

handing over to the new executive he urged

the new chairman and other members to

always act according to the constitution of

NASFAT.

In his response, the new chairman of the

Abuja branch, Alhaji Abdulganiy T. Balogun,

on behalf of other members expressed

gratitude for the opportunity given to them.

He also sought the support of the entire

members for outstanding success.

He said: “Our nominations and selections

were not by mistake but has been

predestined by Almighty Allah who has

assembled us today as the next team to

steer the affairs of the great society for the

next two years.

He therefore pledged on behave of other

members that, “As a team we would

continue to rely on the guidance and

support of Almighty Allah for the effective

utilisation of available opportunities to

achieve our common goals. We would

continue to rely on Him for solution to some

challenges that lies ahead of us.”

Balogun appreciates the Shura committee,

council of elders, zonal executive council

and branch mission board for making it a

reality. He equally noted that the immediate

past executive has added quality values to

what they met on ground, he said, “This is

no doubt a challenge for the new

executive.”

The zonal missioner of the branch, Imam

Sharafuden Aliagan prayed for the new

executive for Allah’s guidance, wisdom and
