Gov Abiodun Is Investing In Youth Development -Hon Wasiu Isiaka

 

 

 

The Honourable Commissioner for Sports Development in Ogun State, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, has stated that His Excellency Governor Dapo Abiodun (CON) is passionate about the plight of the youths and has been doing everything to identify with them.

 

 

 

 

 

He made these remarks during the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) leadership for Ogun State held at the Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta today.

 

 

 

 

 

According to him, “I’m particularly excited about the potential collaboration between the youths council and the sports sector in our dear State. As we prepare to host the National Sports Festival this year, we are aware that sports play a pivotal role in youth development, promoting unity, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among our young population.”

He urged the new executive team to leverage the achievements of the immediate past exco, ably led by Comrade Abdul Jabal Ayelagbe, especially in the area of productivity with the government.

“To whom much is given, much is expected. I, therefore, urge you to reciprocate this gesture by being considerate, understanding, and be partners in peaceful Ogun State by doing all within you to cooperate positively with the government.”

“As you embark on this new chapter, let us remember that the future of our state and our nation rests in the hands of our youth. I seek your cooperation and collaboration as we work together to empower, inspire, and uplift the youth of Ogun State in line with the Building Our Future Together Agenda of this administration.”

” Congratulations once again to the New executive team as we look forward to witnessing the positive impact of your leadership and remarkable achievements that will emanate from your tenure”.
