GOVERNOR IBIKUNLE AMOSUN KEEPS MUM ON CONTROVERSIAL BOMBARDIER JET

The Governor Ibikunle Amosun led Ogun State has kept mum on the wicked rumour that the N 7billion Bombardier jet acquired by business mogul, Dapo Abiodun allegedly belonged to the amiable governor.

On Thursday, January 8, 2015, we contacted his spokesperson, Funmi Wakamma on the issue but got no response. The text sent to her MTN line for comment on the issue was ignored nor responded to.

It was widely reported months back that Dapo Abiodun, the CEO of Heyden Oil and close associate of Ogun State governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun acquired a bombardier jet.

Though the Ijebu-born billionaire businessman has been flaunting the expensive toy’ as his own, it was allegedly reported that the ‘real owner’ of this private aircraft worth about 7billion naira is no other person than the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun.

Dapo Abiodun, an oil baron cum politician took delivery of the new brand Bombardier private jet in September 2014 but according to those who should know, the aircraft which is laced with the latest flight facilities and is one of the most luxurious in the world and has been solely responsible for Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s foreign trips

The powerful machine combination of speed, range, safety and efficiency makes it perfect solution for the growing traveling and international activities of the ‘Ogun Standard’ governor who frequent abroad like the back of his government house.

According to the report, a close associate of the governor disclosed that Abiodun was just a proxy to accomplish such an expensive asset by the governor of a state like Ogun considering its Federal Allocation and Internal generated Revenue.

‘The man Dapo Abiodun is a proxy to His Excellency. Where can he get n7 billion? Oga owns it and I can confirm to you that Oga is becoming the richest politician in Ogun State. That is why we are praying he comes back in 2015 so that we too can make some money out of this government’ the source divulged.

‘Dapo Abiodun has been a close friend of the governor. He helped to manage his (governor) assets and acquire hidden properties across the country. Just like the governor is currently building 5 personal properties in the high brow metropolis of Abeokuta’ the source further disclosed.  Dapo Abiodun; the CEO of Heyden Oil is currently the senatorial candidate of the APC for Ogun east in the state.
