Nigeria’s leading indigenous pharmaceutical company, Emzor received a visit by the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Abdulaziz Mashi Abdullahi and other top officials of the Federal Ministry of Health at its ultra-modern factory in Shagamu, Ogun State.
Known as Emzor Campus, the factory is sited on more than 60 Hectares of land at the Shagamu Interchange of the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, and is the largest pharmaceutical facility in West Africa.
The factory is (cGMP) compliant and has already manufactured and supplied millions of doses of medication ranging from antimalarials, paediatric care, vitamins and antiretrovirals to various international organizations through partnerships for public health intervention.
Founded almost four decades ago by Dr. Stella C. Okoli, OON, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited has been committed to the manufacture of high-quality essential medicines in several therapeutic categories, particularly those that address the leading causes of maternal and child mortality. Emzor is the largest indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturer in the country with over 120 products ,all NAFDAC approved.
Emzor is an official sponsor of the Super Eagles, Super Falcons and the other national football teams.
