HIGH ACHIEVERS AND BRANDS GRACED THIS YEAR NOLLYFANS AWARDS

 
The event was honoured by beautiful faces, high flyers in the academia and professional world, young budding artists, among others.

The who is who in the media, movie, entertainment, police, and other security force were equally on ground for this year Nollyfans award which held at the Duban International Hotel there in Ogba Lagos.

The convener of the event, Mr. Steven Akpos, in his brief opening remark started that some criteria were put to consideration in selecting the awardees. In his words, ”these are men and women who have paid their dues in their respective fields. Behind the fame lies the pain.”

Those awarded were: Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Director of Programmes at TVC Entertainment and News; Ngozi Emedolibe, seasoned Journalist; Agatha Amata, Tv Personality; Dom Daniel Anyanwu, Film Maker; Justice Myrrh, Movie Producer; Auto Xpat, TV production supported by FRSC, LAVIS (VIS), LASTMA, Police Force, Customs, Kings and Safety Ambassador.

Other awardees were: Jide Johnson, Media Person; Mrs. Ezeji Oluchi, Movie Producer and Actress; Mrs. Ngozi Orji, Actress, Costume Designer, Gospel Artist; CMC, Media and Entertainment Brand; Zack Orji, Actor, Surveyor, Writer; Ngozi Braide, SP; Ehiliz, Gospel Artist and Dancer; Linda Ikeji, Foremost Blogger and Entrepreneur.

The young were not left out as students of African Church Grammar School, Ms Oloye Ayoola and Ms Onyetube Paschaline, emerged winners in their category of article writers and mathematics.

Their counterpart from a sister school, African Model College, Master Adegbamigbe Olamide, emerged overall best with an outstanding performance in mathematics in his own category.

Though some of the awardees did not come in person, they had their awards picked by their representatives.

Mr. Jide Johnson, Deputy Provost NIJ, delivered a powerful rendition about discovering your true self. Some of his words reads: ”The openness of ideas and expression between the teacher and the student, is the hallmark of education. Any culture that does not allow for such openness and free expression, risk remaining under developed.

While receiving the award for excellence on behalf of CMC Gladiators as best media group, the founder of the group and UN Ambassador, Cornel Udofia who was overwhelmed with joy, attributed the success to God’s grace and to members commitment to excellence.

The remainder of the event was spice with musical presentation from young artists. Gospel singer, Ehiliz took to stage to perform one her hit track which saw guests climbing up the platform to join in the dance and excitement.

The organizer of the event, Nollyfans Entertainment Media, promises a much bigger outing during future event.
