Hon. Adekoya Presents Wheel Chair to Physically Challenged
Lawmaker representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Honourable Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid on Friday donated a wheel chair to a physically challenged pupil of St. John’s Primary School, Ijebu-Itele in Ijebu East Local Government Council area.
The gesture which was well received among Teachers and other pupils of the school as they all trooped out en-masse to celebrate this humanitarian service by the lawmaker representing them.
This was another in a series of other humanitarian services and gestures of goodwill which the lawmaker, popularly called Attacker have extended to several members of his constituents.
When contacted, Honourable Adekoya said the pupil, who is the most brilliant in the school, was discovered while trying to distribute school uniforms to over 4,000 indigent students across the Federal constituency and the urge to reduce some of the hardships he face on daily basis became overwhelming.
“The brand new wheel chair will allow him to move about freely among his peers and also relieve the parents the burden of carrying him to and from school everyday so that they can also do other economic viable things”, he said.
