The member representing Orhionmwon local government area in EDSOPADAC board
and the director general, APC campaign organization in the LGA, Edo state Hon. Osamwonyi Evbaguehita Atu, has reinstated his commitment towards the development, peace and unity amongst the people.
Hon. Atu made this declarations at his resident in his home town Evbobanosa when he hosted the people to marked the New year.
Speaking on the essence of the event, Hon. Atu said the ceremony was meant to promote peace and unity amongst all sons and daughters of Orhionmwon particularly the people of Evbobanosa.
According to him, “it was time for all Orhionmwon indigenes to come together and celebrate themselves irrespective of political affiliations”.
“I enjoyed you all to see yourselves as brothers and sisters, this ceremony has become an annual event that has come to stay”.
Eulogising the celebrant, the member representing Orhionmwon East in the Edo state House of Assembly, Hon. Nosayaba Okunbor said the celebrant is a quintessential politician whose mandate was ordained by God.
Also speaking, the NDDC board commissioner in Edo state Hon. Saturday Uwuilekhue commend Hon. Atu for spending joyous and remarkable time with his people in the village.
” I have always loved Atu as a politician, he believed in the unity and development of Orhionmwon and Edo state in general”.
While the member representing Orhionmwon/Uhumwonde federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren appreciate Atu for the wonderful initiative to celebrate with the people that he’s glad to have a brother like him who is head bend on putting smile on the faces of the people.
Present at the ceremony were former minister of works, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, Hon. Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs Osemwengie Ero, Hon. Okoro Sylvester, Chairman Orhionmwon local government and Chief Aigbogun popularly known as Oyanyan.
