Hoodlums Attacks Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential Rally In Kaduna

Hoodlums Attacks Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential Rally In Kaduna

Hoodlums on Monday allegedly attacked the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign rally in Kaduna, Kaduna State.

Senator Shehu Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th Assembly disclosed this in a tweet.

“Thugs just invade the Atiku Rally venue in Kaduna with swords and machetes,” he posted.

The APC had organised the rally to drum support for the presidential candidate of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

Atiku later confirmed it on his Twitter page, saying. “I have just received emergency reports of attacks on @OfficialPDPNig supporters by thugs sponsored to scuttle the ongoing PDP campaign rally in Kaduna State. This is undemocratic and against the Peace Accord all parties signed up for just a few weeks ago.

“I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to call on all parties to call their supporters and members to order and to ensure that campaigns, just as with the elections themselves, are kept free, fair and safe.”
