How Prophet Kingsley Foretold Pastor Bolaji Idowu’s Ordeal
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has confirmed that the founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, is under investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja.
This incident appears to validate a prophetic warning issued weeks earlier by Prophet Kingsley Aitafo of the Oneness in Christ Ministry. Prophet Kingsley had urged prayers for a prominent cleric, cautioning that the enemy was planning an attack against him in Abuja.
In a shocking turn of events, news of Pastor Bolaji’s arrest went viral. The NPF spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the development to Peoples Gazette on Wednesday following the cleric’s release from FCID custody on Tuesday.
Responding to inquiries about Pastor Idowu’s arrest and subsequent release, Mr. Adejobi stated, “Yes, he is being interrogated for his involvement in a case under investigation at the FCID, Abuja.” However, Mr. Adejobi did not provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
The pastor, known for his “Next-Level Prayer Conference,” was reportedly detained and questioned over allegations of money laundering and real estate fraud involving a sum of N1.5 billion.
Speaking during his “Next Level Prayers” session on Wednesday, shortly after his release, Pastor Bolaji denied any involvement in the alleged fraud. He clarified that he does not own any properties in Nigeria apart from one inherited from his late parents.
He stated, “I do not have any property in Nigeria apart from the one bequeathed to me by my late parents. I am not in the business of buying or selling property. Someone claimed I received billions into my account. My account is public; anyone can check if I have ever received such amounts. I did not.”
The unfolding investigation has sparked significant public attention, particularly among members of his congregation and the Christian community at large. Meanwhile, supporters continue to express faith in his innocence and call for transparency in the investigation process.
