How Rolls Royce King, Akin Olugbade Died Of Covid-19 Complications

Sadly, Nigerian billionaire businessman, Aare Boluwatife Akin-Olugbade is dead. The Rolls Royce king died a few hours ago at 64 after battling with COVID19 complications in Lagos.

 

A native of Owu kingdom in Ogun state, the late Akin-Olugbade was described as one of the world’s biggest Rolls-Royce collectors. He was so obsessed with the brand that he had 10 Rolls Royces which had his customized plate numbers- ‘BOLU 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…”

 

Late Akin-Olugbade attended Corona School, Yaba; King’s College, Lagos; London University; University of California (master’s in Law); and Cambridge University where he got his doctorate specialising in Company Law. His business interests cut across law, property development, construction, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, maritime and offshore services, investment banking, etc

Aare Boluwatife Akin Olugbade is one Rolls Royce fanatic who has spent a chunk of his fortune on this car brand.

He is rumoured to have bought every new model of Rolls Royce for the past years. He made his first acquisition in the year 1984.

He has been recognised by Rolls Royce for his purchases as he became one of the chosen men who were exclusively invited worldwide to have a pre-release view of the 2019 Rolls Royce SUV named ‘Cullinan’.
