‘I regret losing my virginity at 28’ – Singer, Asa reveals

France-based Nigerian singer, Bukola Elemide, popularly known as Asa has revealed she regrets loosing her virginity at 28 years and why she waited that long .

This was gathered during her chat with Funmi Iyanda, where the ‘Jailer’ crooner  disclosed that she was a late starter with sex as she was shy growing up and too focused on her career.

She said her preference in men kept changing, although she compromised as she grew older.

She said, ‘’After noticing there was a problem, I called my manager, Janet to tell her about my virginity and she was surprised that I was a very late starter. I also called my mum and she didn’t have any advice, she said, “it will be painful at first’, and I was there wondering what she was saying.

“I am not proud to say I lost my virginity at 28, so don’t clap for me. Perhaps one of the reasons why I lost my virginity that late was because I was shy and somewhere else where I was too focused on my career that I didn’t even think about having sex.”
