My name is Edward Brown a.k.a Eddy Remedy, some call me Eddy Montana, Baba Kenedy, I am a member of the Remedies Group that came up with an Afro Hiphop style of music which came out 1997.
HOW DID YOU VENTURE INTO MUSIC?
When I was young, I listen to a lot of musical styles like the HipHop , Reggea, Juju, Highlight and others.
HOW DID YOU COME ACROSS MUSIC?
When I was young, I listen to a lot of songs. My Dad was a musician, he was into music, so music was in the the blood.
HOW FAR DO YOU WANT TO GO INTO MUSIC?
For as long as I live till I die, music as always been my call, in which I was brought up.
WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU WILL BE IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS?
I will be travelling all over the world on a tour.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A MUSICIAN?
Popularity, I wanted to be popular. But when I got into music, I saw that music was way bigger than just getting popular, you give your life, you can’t have it anymore, sometimes you won’t be able to sit down and eat Amala without a Journalist or a Pressman interpreting it.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR CHALLENGES?
The biggest challenges a superstar has is that you don’t have a private life.
HOW IS YOUR MARITAL LIFE?
My marital life is wonderful, it has given me enough chance to get back to my career to God especially.
WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR CONSENT IF ANY OF YOUR CHILDREN WANTS TO GO INTO MUSIC?
We would only encourage them, because they are now teenagers. One of them is 15 years of age and the other is 13 years old. Even when a 5 year-old dismantle toys and builds it up back. You already know where the child is going.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR UPCOMING?
Music is a big industry, it is very big with talented industry in Nigeria. So their believe should be in God.
