IBD Foundation Awards Scholarships To Indigent Students
The Ibrahim Dende Foundation (IBD Foundation), one of the few non-governmental organisations, NGOs reputed for its genuine charitable ventures has awarded scholarships to three indigent students of Obanla Adeola, a primary 6 student of Muslim School, Oja-Odan, Adegoke Michael, a primary 5 student of Deuteronomy Academy, Ilaro to enable them continue with their secondary education.
The award is the initiative and vision of accomplished businessman, Ibrahim Dende of IBD fame under its educational and empowerment foundation designed to kick out poverty from the disadvantaged communities in the Yewa axis of Ogun State.
Speaking at the colourful Eid Mubarak celebration empowerment event organised by IBD Foundation tagged Kiddies Charity Funfair held at Igbo Atan compound, Ebute Igooro in Yewa axis of Ogun state, Mrs Lara Dende, the beautiful co-founder and wife of Ibrahim Dende reiterated the foundation’s plans to impact on humanity positively.
Besides the announcement of scholarships to some indigent students from the Yewa axis, the charity event also witnessed a large turn out of Nollywood superstars and dignitaries like Femi Adebayo, Muyiwa Ademola, Ibrahim chatta , Qdot a
Alagbe, Hon. Haruna Egungbohun, Hon Alabama, Mr Lekan ( branch mgr access abk) Hon Oyefeso, Otunba Wale Adesina, Jumla , and Murphy Afolabi amongst others who thrilled the enthusiastic crowd to a night of unforgettable fun.
