IBD Foundation’s Light of Humanity shines in Covid-19 support drive, donates 200 bags of rice, 70 kegs of groundnut oil in Ogun West

A wise man once said “The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention”. That man was Kahlil Gibran. IBD Foundation, a non-governmental organization(NGO) known for its countless act of kindness has once again step up to the plate in the fight against coronavirus pandemic. Aside putting in place preventive measures for employees of the group which include IBDIMPEX and IBD Hotels, the hospitality arm of the group. The foundation has gone above and beyond to extend its hand of fellowship to communities and towns within the Ilaro and Oja-Odan axis of Ogun state.

IBD Foundation which is the vision of Ibrahim Dende, the highly successful businessman behind the flourishing IBD group has over the last few years become a symbol of hope to hundreds of thousands particularly in the Yewa axis of the gateway state. The foundation which has continued to wax stronger under the leadership of Omolara Dende, the compassionate wife of the celebrity businessman, Ibrahim Dende has joined the train of coronavirus kindness train offering help in the season of global darkness.

We can report authoritatively that IBD foundation recently donated 200 bags of rice and 70 kegs of groundnut oil to communities and towns in Ilaro and Oja-Odan axis. The philanthropic gesture, we gathered was carried out through the religious bodies in the communities to ensure effective distribution of the relief packages. And that is not all. Other beneficiaries of the philanthropic drive include all staff of IBDIMPEX and IBDHOTELS

Established a few years ago solely to lift humanity out of poverty, IBD foundation has built a strong reputation for philanthropy and genuine community development initiatives by offering scholarships to hundreds of indigent students; and provision of empowerment schemes for hundreds of disadvantaged people particularly in Ogun west.
