Ijebu-Ode Federal Constituency,Princess Olapeju Shote set to make History

The governor Ibikunle Amosun-led government of Ogun state has scored many firsts in the 7years or so of piloting the affairs of the gateway state. Unknown to many, there are some of Nigeria’s best brains in governor Ibikunle Amosun’s cabinet who have contributed greatly to the success story of the government.

And one of those shinning lights of governor Amosun’s government is no one but one of Nigeria’s epitome of beauty and brain, Princess Olapeju Shote.

The choice of Olapeju Shote as one of the prominent senior aides to governor Ibikunle Amosun, we gathered was precipitated by her impressive track records in Corporate Nigeria. Princess Olapeju Shote is from the Royal house of the famous Shote-Onotowobola in Ijebu-Ode but hers is not all about royalty, she’s scored many first, both in academics and career. During her University days, the graduate of the prestigious Metropolitan University, Manchester, United Kingdom, came out in flying colours where bagged a Masters degree in Management. As you read, Princess Olapeju Shote is currently pursuing her PhD in Gender Management at the University of Ibadan.

The good news is that the good people of Ijebu Federal Constituency are in for a brighter future in 2019 as Princess Olapeju Shote, a thoroughbred professional in politics throws the hat in the ring for the House of Representatives elections.

Interestingly, Princess Olapeju Shote is the only female aspiring to represent her constituency at the National Assembly. Already, there is excitement in the atmosphere as her foray into the House of Representatives elections offers a ray of sunshine for the people of her constituency. Maybe this is because of her antecedents in her as one of the top aides of governor Ibikunle Amosun. Princess Olapeju Shote had made concerted efforts for the federal government SIProject and the poverty alleviation programme had change lives of over 3500 people from Ijebu-Ode. As if that’s not enough, she’s currently the Ogun’s voice on affairs with GADA on women rights issues with efforts to develop platforms for gender development.

Princess Olapeju Shote, who is a proud member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll and Pension Management is a woman full of high taste for fashion and panache. She has equally done a lot in the area of humanity and she’s indeed a worthy representation of Ogun standard.
