In a way to celebrate the minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the vice-chairman of Ikorodu Local Government and the National Deputy Chairman, ( Association of local government vice chairmen in Nigeria) has poured out eulogies.

In a statement released by her, she noted that the veteran and astute politician whose birthday is on Monday, 25th of May, 2020 has proven severally to be a man of integrity, a man of impact and a true progressive Leader in all his endeavors.

She recounted his many achievements as Osun state governor, explaining that his selfless spirit and excellent leadership skills brought several developments to the state.

She further maintained that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is a great asset to Nigeria and should be treated as such.

Celebrating my Quintessential leader, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Is a great privilege .

I refer to him as my ‘Oga’ because that is what he truly is to me.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Is selfless, intelligent, and has all the qualities of a true leader.

His contributions to the development of Lagos state can never be overemphasized.

During his tenure as the commissioner of works and infrastructure, Lagos state under the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he was extraordinary in carrying out his activities and most of the benefits we enjoy today are because of his deeds.

He Is indeed a national asset and one who has vast experience in virtually every thing that has to do with leadership.

Indeed, He is a true progressive, the records can bear witness, His eight years as governor of Osun state brought about a total transformation of the state in all aspect.

He is loyal, and above everything, he would choose his integrity, he is a man of his words, very principled, yet flexible.

We have few of his kinds on earth, hence, he should be given the best kind of celebration ever.

As he turns a year older, I ask that God continue to keep him for us to celebrate many more glorious years and that he never fails. Amen
