‘I’m very sorry’ – Aremu Afolayan apologizes to FG, Ambode over rant

Aremu Afolayan has given an update on the issue he had with immigration at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, which caused him to lash out at President Buhari and Ambode.

The actor said the issue his niece had with her passport has been resolved. He went on to thank “Ms Jumoke” and the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo for “coming into the root of this matter” and helping to resolve it.

He said the air has been cleared and they have all apologised to each other. He added that his outrage was simply because he is an angry Nigerian who wants the country to be better.

He went on to thank those who denied him after his rant went viral. He didn’t call names but his brother Kunle Afolayan is the only one who came out in public to distance himself from Aremu’s actions so social media users have concluded that his message was for Kunle.

Aremu said:

I want to say I’m sorry to Mr President and to my family and to the people who denied me, I want to say a big thank you to you too because if you’ve not denied, I won’t still be standing here, I guess so.
