Imo Bye-Election: Senator Araraume Candidacy Suffers Setback  As Imolites Rejects Him

 

The candidacy of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume in the Imo north bye-election has suffered huge setback as the populace of Okigwe Zone has rejected his candidacy in the election which will come up on December 5, 2020.

In an opinion poll carried out in the six local governments in Okigwe Zone, it was discovered that most of the populace have started huge mobilization to ensure APC and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume do not become victorious in the election.

Generally, they explained that Senator Araraume was once a senator in the zone and during his tenure, He didn’t develop Okigwe Zone, rather, the senatorial district was short-changed in development and till now, the zone is described as the least developed in the whole of Imo state.

Some of them who wanted to remain anonymous made it known that Senaotr Araraume is not credible candidate because of his past, the many scandals of which some are true, his administrative style and his military style of leadership.

Some were of the notion that He embezzled the money meant to develop Okigwe zone, and diverted them to his personal business in Abuja.

With this, it’s as good as saying APC is on its way to oblivion in Imo north.
