Imo State Police Command Debunks The News of Man Smashes A New Born Baby On The Floor As Fake

The attention of the Imo State Police Command has been drawn to the news making the rounds on various social media platforms regarding to a story purportedly published by an unknown news agency stating about a man named Ezekiel Anorue whom was said to have smashed a new born baby on the floor because his wife gave birth to a baby girl instead of a baby boy, of which the Imo State Public Relations Officer was quoted to have confirmed the story.

The Command spoke person, SP Ikeogwu Godson Orlando,,issue a press released “quoted that he wishes to state that there is no record of such case anywhere in the Command and as such declares the said story as “FAKE NEWS”.

According to him,that the PPRO Imo State Command never granted any interview nor had any conversation with regards to the said issue with anyone, “it wondered the reason why some people will just sit and cook up stories that never existed or happened.

In view of the above , members of the public are advised to disregard the news while the author is hereby warned to desist from generating fake news or raising false alarm as such is capable of causing panic, chaos or breach of peace
