He is handsome and talented, He is A Medical Doctor. Ibe Ogbu popularly known as Fyneface, is best known in the fashion world than he’s celebrated in the world of make-believe. But nonetheless, he’s determined to make his mark, as he debuts in Nollywood.

Fyneface, who studied Medical Physiology, at University of Port-Harcourt says, acting has been an integral part of his existence. Even though, he has made a name for himself, designing native clothes for high-flying politicians and royal fathers in Port-Harcourt, including Governor Nysom Wike of Rivers State, Fyneface still feels the urge to delve into acting.

According to him, “I wanted to study Theatre Arts, but my mum insisted I must become a medical doctor. I never had affection for medicine. So, when I got into the university, she was still pushing me to study medicine, but I ended up, studying medical physiology. After my graduation, she wanted me to go back to school and study medicine. But I refused, maintaining that it wasn’t what I wanted in life.

So, I went for fashion and acting,”the budding actor recounted.

Continuing, Fyneface said, “For me, it’s a dream come true, having been desiring to become an actor since my childhood. I have passion for acting as well as designing native clothes.”

Fyneface , who said he has been into fashion designing for ten years now, is currently featuring in a comedy series titled, Salon du Benin”, alongside notable actors and comedians in the likes of Edo Pikin, MC Casino and Success Betty from Germany.

The series, produced by popular film director cum producer, Lancelot Imasuen promises to be another bar raiser in the industry. According to him, the series mirrors the current happening in the society in a light manner. Apart from featuring in the series, a number of roles have been lined up for Fyneface in some upcoming films.
