Amidst the burial preparations and at the service of songs held in honor of Jide Kosoko’s wife, Henrietta Kosoko at LTV 8, Agidingbi Ikeja, Lagos went sour when her family members announced to everyone that burial plans for the movie thespian in Lagos was cancelled.
Late Henrietta Kosoko was scheduled to be buried in at the Atan Cementry, Yaba while the church service was to take place at Regina Mundi Catholic church, Mushin
Lagos. All plans were changed on Thursday, June 9, as the service of songs.
Confirming the report, one of the burial committee disclosed to justpye via telephone conversation that Henrietta Kosoko’s family made their intentions known that their daughter would not be buried in Lagos the following day after she died because Jide Kosoko had failed to perform all the necessary marriage plans between them.
However, late Henrietta Kosoko’s family disclosed that in Delta state their culture does not permit their daughter’s to be buried outside the state especially when proper marriage rites wasn’t done before her death.
However, many of her colleagues supported this idea because Henrietta months back had a misunderstanding with her husband which has made the two of them live
apart from each other until the point of death.
Due to this, the remains of Henrietta would be taken to Delta state on Friday, June 10 alongside family members, friends and loved ones.
