It was an atmosphere of unlimited excitement on Saturday as the
foremost entertainment Centre, Kada Plaza Cinema and Entertainment
Centre celebrated its 4th anniversary in Benin City.
In keeping with its corporate social responsibility, the centre among
other activities treated hundreds of orphans and less privileged
children to a mega party comprising live performances, film show,
games and a sumptuous lunch. Among the orphanage homes were Centre for
Tender Speech Development, God’s Own Orphanage, Oronsaye Orphanage,
Project Charilove and My Mummy’s Orphanage.
Speaking at the Kada 4th anniversary, the Managing Director, Mr.
Trevor Pillay said the gesture which has become a tradition at Kada
Cinema Ltd, is the organization’s way of appreciating God and to also
make that segment of the society have a sense of belonging.
He said apart from hosting the orphans, Kada Plaza Cinema and
Entertainment Centre also rolled out the “Spend and Win” promo as
part of activities to commemorate the 4th anniversary.
The spend and win promo gives an opportunity to every customer that
made a purchase on the anniversary day to win mystery prizes.
Other events that added pep to the 4th anniversary was the “Man versus
Burger” competition where contestants were give ten minutes to
completely exhaust a king size burger and coke for a prize of N50,000
naira.
The Kada 4th anniversary climaxed with the commissioning of the Style
& Comfort boutique another business unit of the plaza.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion were the former governor of Edo
State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion and wife Mrs. Eki Igbinedion.
