Keep Hope Alive”- Former Presidential Aspirant Urge Workers As Nigeria Celebrates May Day

Keep Hope Alive”- Former Presidential Aspirant Urge Workers As Nigeria Celebrates May Day

On May 1st, Nigerian workers joined their counterparts across the world to celebrate Workers’ Day. The day serves as a reminder of the important role that workers play in building and sustaining the economy, and it’s a time to reflect on the challenges that workers face.

In Nigeria, the celebration of Workers’ Day is bittersweet. The country’s workforce has been hit hard by a poor economy, high cost of living, bad roads, and an unhealthy health sector, among other challenges. Many workers are paid wages that are not up to a living wage, making it difficult to make ends meet.

Despite these challenges, workers in Nigeria remain resilient and committed to building a better future for themselves and their families. In his message to Nigerian workers, former presidential aspirant, Faduri Joseph expressed his belief that rescue day is coming ahead.

He called on workers to continue to help grow and sustain Nigeria’s economy, noting that the country cannot thrive without the contributions of its workers.

Joseph also pledged his support for Nigerian workers, promising to defend and support them when the need arises. He praised the efforts and contributions of workers in both the public and private sectors, and called for a greater appreciation of their role in nation building and sustainability.

As Nigerian workers mark Workers’ Day, they do so with the knowledge that the road ahead will not be easy. But with the support of leaders like Faduri Joseph and a commitment to building a better future, they remain hopeful that a brighter future is possible for all workers in Nigeria.

He also urged the incoming administration to do more in improving workers welfare and to also look into both pensioners and workers reform for a better Nation ahead.
