In his congratulatory message to a strong pillar of the All Progressive Congress (APC), which is obtained by our correspondent, Kings Wali, depicts Amaechi as a Leader, Brother and a Friend.

Eulogizing the Minister, Kings Wali said, “From humble beginnings against all odds, you set out at dawn and weathered the storms, defying the many obstacles that stood in your path and thus became the inspiration you are today.”

While speaking on his achievement Wali said, “Your many accomplishments speak for your tenacity, willingness to learn, discipline and hard work. It is on record that you are a trailblazer, unfazed by the uncertainties and accompanying difficulties of taking new grounds. This is why your footprints trail indelibly from Rivers states to the far reaches of Nigeria.”

Kings Wali noted that the Minister never for once cower to a challenge, just like an Iroko tree that cannot be cut down.

According to him, “You are like the famous River Niger which traverses from Niger to the Niger Delta daily washing its shores with its waters bringing freshness, new life and wealth to people. Like Mount Kilimanjaro.

“You have peaked into the skies, towering high above the mountains and seas. Like the “proverbial African Octopus” the span of your reach encircles the Equator, traversing the Land of the Far East and sets in the West as the Sun”, he extolled.

Like many known the Minister to be a man of many traits, KingsWali, also, noted that he is indeed, a man of many traits, he said: “Like a light-house, you tower the dark providing light and direction to many navigating the open sea of life full of treachery, turbulence and opportunities, guiding safely to shore.

“Today we celebrate not just your life, leadership and passionate belief in Nigeria but also your love for humanity, your respect for the dignity of labour, and the light that you shine on the path of the weak and downtrodden. Today, I celebrate a brother, leader, a rare gem, our nation’s pride and promise.

“As you clock 56, we celebrate with you your many accomplishments, your visionary leadership and passionate pursuit, and a life well-lived. May the Almighty grant you the desires of your heart and further pave your path in gold, for I believe that your story is still being written with so many pages yet unfulfilled. God’s many blessing on this day”, he said.

It is, however, worthy of note that Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a Nigerian politician who is currently serving as the Minister of Transportation in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari.
