Kiraa Film Academy Seeks Collaborative Partnership with TASUED’s Creative Arts Department”

In a bid to foster a synergistic relationship between academia and practical industry experience, Kiraa Film Academy, a subsidiary of Kiraa TV, located at Ososa, Ogun State, has extended a formal request for collaboration to the Department of Creative Arts at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).

In a letter addressed to the Head of Department at TASUED’s Creative Arts Department, Mr. Olufemi O. Oduga, the Registrar of Kiraa Film Academy expressed the academy’s sincere interest in establishing a partnership with the esteemed department.

Recognizing the Department’s commitment to excellence in arts education, Kiraa Film Academy envisions a collaboration that encompasses joint workshops, masterclasses, and collaborative projects. The proposed initiatives aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing students with a comprehensive and enriched educational experience.

The envisioned partnership also includes the exchange of department members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development. Both institutions plan to organize events, film festivals, and cultural activities to showcase the collective talent and creativity of their academic communities.

Currie Franklin O., CEO of Kiraa TV, expressed enthusiasm about the potential collaboration, highlighting shared commitments to the arts. The collaboration is expected to enhance the educational landscape for students on both sides, providing unique opportunities for growth and learning.

In a related development, the Department of Creative Arts at Tai Solarin University of Education earlier today Wednesday February 14th, 2024, held its 2nd induction ceremony at Otunba Gbenga Daniel’s hall, located in the school premises, where Kiraa TV was the official media partner for the event.
The event signifies a momentous occasion for the department as it celebrates the achievements and contributions of its members to the field of creative arts.

As both institutions explore the possibilities of collaboration, this venture holds promise for creating a dynamic and enriching environment for students, educators, and industry professionals alike. The Kiraa Film Academy looks forward to contributing to the growth and success of both entities through this collaborative endeavor.
