Lagos Governorship Race : Femi Hamzat withdraws, supports Sanwo-Olu


Dr. Femi Hamzat, a governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Nigeria, today (Saturday) stepped down from the race.


He has consequently taken the decision to support the ambition of another aspirant, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. 


Addressing a press conference, Hamzat, who called on his supporters to cast their votes for Sanwo-Olu during the party’s primary argued that, ” I can vouch for Sanwo-Olu’s integrity and personal intelligence.”
