Lagos PDP admonishes aspirants to work towards victory as INEC issues nomination forms

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Lagos state People Democratic Party (PDP) candidates for state and federal house were issued INEC nomination yesterday at the party secretariat.

 

Dr Olajide Adediran, aka“Jandor” the Lagos state Governorship flag bearer, while handing over the forms to all the aspirants called on members to work towards victory during general elections in the state.

 

 

 

 

 

He said it was indeed a thing of joy for everyone of them to witness the ceremony of the handing over showing that there are all candidates of the party’s forthcoming Lagos state Assembly members.

 

“I want to remind us to work tremendously and extend hand of fellowship to others who are aggrieved because you cannot do it alone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Some unexpected things might come up immediately after the exercise, this is nature but on how we handle them or how we go about them will determine how they will be solved at the end of the day.

 

“We all know that this event was scheduled to take place at Liberty house but my people said we should have it at the secretariat and I listened to them, I will continue to give listening ear to all our members’’, he said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adediran appealed to members not to give reasons to some persons paid to carry out attacks in destroying the party, he urged them to continue to give listening ears and reconcile with members who are aggrieved during the primary election.

 

“They are many ways to channel any matter or you can as well approach court if you are not satisfied with the way it was handled but not by destroying the party’s platform because at the end if you win you will still come back to the platform.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I have a message to the agents and moles that the new Lagos PDP will ensure that they win the general elections and put them to shame’’.

 

He urged all aspirants with INEC form to go back to their constituency and carry every member along, make peace and bring many people on broad.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“We will make sure everybody gets a fair share and move the party forward’’.

 

A member, Hon. Modupe Johnson Adebowale, aka Godmother, Surulere ll, while giving the closing remarks used the medium to appreciate the incoming governor, the executives and all members.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She said that with God all things are possible, stressing that they will not fail but take the party to the promised land.

 

Members that collected the INEC nomination forms included Hon. Ejikunle Olorunsogo from Agege constituency ll, Hon Olwale Lawal, Ikorodu l, Hon. Modupe Johnson Adebowale Surulere lI, Hon Adewale Babasegun Apapa l. and many others
