Lagos state police boss promised adequate security to Lagosian while commissioning a divisions

The Lagos Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu,have promised adequate security for the residents of Ejigbo and it enivorns a crime free zone .
He said this during the commissioning of the refurbished and newly constructed office complex at the Divisional Headquarters Ejigbo, Lagos State.
The complex was refurbished with some new offices added,it was built by the Chief Executive Officer of Grooming International Centre, Dr Godwin Nwabunka, who described his gesture as a reflection of the Community Policing agenda of the Inspector-General of Police, with a view to achieving effective policing of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
Police boss use the medium to assure Lagosians that all hands are on the desk to ensure a crime-free yuletide season.
He also send a strong warning to those planning to execute any form of criminality to tame themselves or be tamed by our officers as we have decided to make Lagos State uninhabitable to criminal elements.
CP commended the chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Hon.Monsuru Bello Obe for donating two Siena Buses to Ejigbo Divison to boost its operational engagement and provide adequate security for all the residents in the area.
‘On our part, it will be my pleasure to set in motion actions for deployment of additional Police officers to Ejigbo; and judiciously utilize the vehicles for purposes which they are meant in order to deliver on your security needs.
“To achieve this, we seek cooperation of Lagosians in sharing information on crimes and suspected criminals and alerting us promptly about criminal activities in their areas for decisive police action.
“I hereby commend officers and men of this Division for their extraordinary service delivery, while advising them and all police personnel in the state to be humane, civil, and committed to the present ongoing reforms in the Nigeria Police,” he said
The Commisioner of Police was also accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rapid Response Squad, DCP Tunji Disu, DCP Longe Yetunde incharge of Panti,Area Commanders of Area D, Mushin, Area B, Apapa, Area F, Ikeja, Area M, Idimu, Area E, Festac, and some Divisional Police Officers around the areas, and the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
