Lagos Theatre practitioners endorse High Chief Owolabi Salis for Governor, Lagos state

 

A Lagos state governorship candidate of the Alliance For Democracy, High Chief Owolabi Salis has been endorsed by the Lagos state theatre practitioners in an event organised in Igbobo, Ikorodu, Lagos on the 16th Of November, 2018.

The event was organised by the Lagos theatre art association under the umbrella of the organisation of all theatre arts in Lagos with the theme ‘Improving on the living standards of commoners in Lagos.

High Chief Owolabi Salis who was a guest speaker at the event stated that for the lives of commoners to be improved in lagos, the gap between the rich and poor must be bridged, there must be housing unit provided for the poor, there must be a good health policy for the poor, there must be good food and water provision for the poor.

 

The event had the big wigs of theatre practitioners and dignitaries in attendance. The likes of Hon. Omololu Adefolajuwon, who was the chairman of the occasion, Oba Semiu Kasali ( Adeboruwa of Igbogbo) who was represented by his aide, Amino Eleha, Prince Ademola Adedapo, Pa Charles Oluwo, High Chief Kehinde Remi ( Papa Ajasco), Chief Bashir Ishola, to mention a few.

High Cheif Owolabi Salis also praised the theatre practitioners in Lagos during the event and promised to put Nollywood on the limelight once he is elected as Governor of Lagos state.

 

Furthermore, the event ended with a dinner with the Oba Adeboruwa Of Igbogbo, Oba Semiu Kasali.
