A middle aged landlady is cooling down in police cell for allegedly stabbing a 37year old woman tenant with dagger over mere argument of light disconnection in the compound by PHCN with the landlord in Lagos
The incident happened on 29th March, at No. 78 Amudalatu Agodo, Cele, Egbe Ikotun area of Lagos
According to the mandated reporter ,the landlord one Samson Ubasinachi Ekweozor was having issues with his tenants over power supply bill which has prompted Power Holding Company to disconnect the compound from not getting power supply.
Sahara weekly learnt that the tenant side of apartments actually linked to where water pumping machine was and it also affected them by the disconnection of the light .
The Landlord Mr. Samson Ubanisinichi brought an electrician to reconnect the water pumping machine directly to his own personal meter and disconnect the tenants from not getting water supply again in the compound.
Then the tenants discover that landlord have reconnect the pumping machine directly to his own meter and out off the tenants from not having water,this revolts the tenants against the landlord decision which led to hot exchange of words between the landlord and his tenant.
Our correspondent gathered that after all seemed to have calmed down, the landlord wife, Mrs. Anulika Ubasinach Ekweozor, used dagger on one of the tenant wife, Marian, who have earlier exchanged words with the landlord and inflicted injury on his face.
The victim,was rushed to hospital and presently admitted at Ayis Hospital, Liasu Road, Ile-ewe Bus Stop, Egbe area of Lagos.
The suspect have been arrested by the Family Support Unit of Ikotun divisional police station for further investigation before charging to court .
