London Ready as Angel Global Promotions Hosts ‘AfroAsia Dance & Cultural Events’ July

London city will be agog on Saturday, July 27, 2024 as Angel Global Promotions UK together dancers, actors and music and culture enthusiasts from different parts of Asia and Africa for the latest edition of ‘AfroAsia Dance & Cultural Events’.

 

Speaking to journalists, Princess Adetutu Jakande, the CEO of Angel Global Promotions UK, stated that the aim of the event is to cross-promote Africa and Asia, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of people of both continents.

 

The special events that will be taking place at Lighthouse Theatre, Camberwell Road, London, will witness a diverse range of music, cultural display and dances, with a fusion of the continents’ beautiful traditions, said Princess Adetutu.

 

Underscoring the important role of entertainment in society, Princess Adetutu, who is an international events promoter, contends that its significance extends far beyond personal leisure. She asserts that entertainment events play a crucial role in shaping culture, fostering unity, and expressing emotions within a society. “Such events like the AfroAsia Dance & Cultural Events we’re hosting in July, holds societal importance and its impact on cultural expression and cohesion cannot be overemphasized,” she declares.

The Yoruba top actor died in the early hours of Wednesday at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The news of his demise was broken on Wednesday by a popular Ibadan-based cleric, Pastor Ademola Amusan, a.k.a. Agbala Gabriel, in whose care the late thespian had been for some months.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Announcing Suebebe’s death, Agbala Gabriel wrote on his Facebook page, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

An undisclosed ailment brought the late actor in touch with Pastor Amusan who through his humanitarian outreach programme on Facebook page raised financial support for the deceased.

CHAINS movie, which wrapped principal photography in August 2023 in the city of Abuja Nigeria, is an inspiring and emotional drama/thriller set in the 21st century Gospel Music ministry and the music industry worlds. With an engaging and thought-provoking storyline, CHAINS explores the theme of God’s overwhelming love that will leave the 99 and go in search of one lost soul, dissecting the internal struggles of pursuing one’s dream in a world that often challenges their beliefs and faith.

 

It tells the story of a Gospel Artiste on a journey to balance his Music Ministry and the realities of the music industry, putting at risk all he’s built over the years, while battling a moral disease common to all humanity, but determined to live no longer a slave.

 

The movie was filmed with high-end film equipment and locations, forging a collaboration of professional expertise and spiritual consecration, and stars a number of popular Christian Word and Music Ministers.

According to the writer, producer and director of Chains movie, Bright Wonder Obasi, “Films and the media industry has been utilized across ages to shape the culture and norms of societies. Films have become more influencers of norms and values in the society than even the Sunday School classroom. Every content is designed to drive an AGENDA; hence the reason we have to be Intentional. And since darkness is the absence of light, then the problem with the world is never the darkness, but the bearers of the light who have refused to shine the light, especially in the market place, so the darkness might give way. If people knew how much God loves them, and the extent He would go to ensure that they have a good life, they most definitely will be drawn to Him and love Him. CHAINS is a highly spiritual movie that has come as a beacon of light at such a time as this, to stir up a revolution in the film industry, bringing the love of God to cinemas, and seeding the emergence of more Christ-centric films in main stream distribution; both cinemas and streaming platforms.

CHAINS movie, which is distributed by Silverbird Distribution, will have its Nigeria premiere in Abuja and Lagos, before commencing its theatrical run across cinemas in Nigeria from August 16, 2024. Afterwards, the movie will commence a tour across Africa, The US, UK, Canada, and more.

Lagos, Nigeria – We are thrilled to announce the premiere of the highly anticipated gender-based movie “Deafening Silence,” as it hits the screen on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at Ebony Life Place, Victoria Island, Lagos. Directed by the acclaimed Biodun Stephen, this powerful film is a joint production by the EU-UN and Spotlight Initiative in collaboration with the United Nations Development Fund, UNDP, and the Foundation for Resilient Empowerment and Development, FRED.

 

“Deafening Silence” boasts an impressive lineup of Nollywood stars, including Toni Tones, Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs, Daniel Etim Effiong, Chidi Mokeme, Bimbo Akintola, Derby Felix, and Ekamma Etim-Inyang. The movie explores deep societal issues, delivering a poignant message about gender equality and empowerment.

Esteemed directors Emem Isong Misode, Abiodun Adebayo, and Biodun Stephen have lent their expertise to bring this compelling narrative to life. The film is produced by the talented Joy Uduak Johnson.

Following the premiere, “Deafening Silence” will be available for the public to watch in cinemas nationwide.
