LUCKY IGBINEDION NOW DEPUTY CHANCELLOR, IUO

The Nigeria’s first Premier private University, Igbinedion University
Okada IUO, has appointed a new Deputy chancellor in the person of
former two time Governor of Edo state,  Chief Lucky Nosakhare
Igbinedion the heir apparent to sir Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion
Empire.
According to a press statement signed  by the media officer to the
former governor, Mr Mark Nkworji, said the letter of his appointment
dated 28th may, 2018 and signed by the chancellor and Chairman board
of Regents of the University, His Excellency, sir chief Gabriel
Igbinedion says the appointment of chief Lucky Igbinedion as Deputy
chancellor and Deputy chairman board of Regents takes immediate
effect.
Chief Lucky Igbinedion, is an astute administrator who came into
political limelight in 1987 as the Mayor of the old Oredo local
government Area and later became the Executive governor of Edo state
in 1999 to 2007.
The former governor holds a master  degree from the Jackson states
University, Mississippi, USA.
An investiture ceremony to herald  the appointment has been slated
for monday, June 14th 2018
