Make-up artist wins N2 million in Fidelity Get Alert in Millions promo.

 

In its bid to constantly reward loyal customers, Fidelity Bank Plc, one of the country’s leading financial institutions has presented a cheque of N2 million to Kafilat Olayinka Dada, who emerged star prize winner in the penultimate monthly draw of the ongoing ‘Get Alert In Millions’ promo. Dada, who received the prize money at an elaborate prize presentation ceremony held at the Bank’s head office in Lagos on Thursday, expressed profound gratitude to the Bank for fulfilling her dreams of owning a beauty salon. While fielding questions from journalists at the ceremony in Lagos, Dada said, “When I was told that I won the prize money, I thought it was a scam. I only believed it when my account officer confirmed it.”

 

In addition, Joseph Chukwulozie, a car dealer and Ugwumba Gaius also smiled home with a generating set and refrigerator respectively. In his opening remark, the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Fidelity Bank Plc. Nnamdi Okonkwo pointed out that the promo is in line with the Bank’s commitment to improve the living standards of customers, particularly in today’s ailing economy. Okonkwo, who was represented by the Executive Director, Shared Services & Products, Chijioke Ugochukwu pointed out that the promo was designed to not only drive financial inclusion mandate of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) but to imbibe a savings culture.

Chukwulozie, another customer was full of admiration for the Bank’s unparalleled dedication to delivering excellent service. Recounting his experiences with the bank, Chukwulozie said that; “ever since I started banking with Fidelity, I have had that assurance of quality service. As a business man, I need dependable advice and Fidelity Bank provides me with all necessary information to help grow my business.” Similarly, Ugwumba who could hardly contain his emotions stated, “my gratitude goes to my wife who encouraged me to open an account with Fidelity Bank. Today is one of the best days of my life. I’ll continue to bank with them.”

So far, the financial institution has given out N85million to customers in the promo. However, N20million is still up for grabs.To participate in the promo, a prospective customer is required to open a savings account and consequently grow it to N20, 000.  On the other hand, an existing customer needs to top his account by N10, 000 to qualify for the monthly draw and stand a chance of winning millions of naira. To maintain transparency and reliability, the prize presentation was conducted under the close administration of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), the Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Lagos State Lottery Board and Media representatives.
