Sahara Weekly Reports That The Founder of the foremost socio- political group (Kajola-Kajolowo), a great political mobilizer, grassroot politician and astute philanthropist, Otunba Olusegun Alex Ayodele Fanibe otherwise known as Oko-Arugbo rejoice with the thespian turned politician, Hon. (Chief) Mikhail Rotimi Makinde (MHR), on the celebration of his birthday.
Fanibe in a congratulatory message made available by his Media, Publicity and Strategic Adviser, MacDonald Oladipo, said, “I wholeheartedly rejoice with my brother, who distinguished himself as a worthy representatives of Ifeland during his stint at the lower chambers of the national assembly.
Without mincing words, Hon. Makinde is a patriotic Ife son and history will be kind to him in the annal of Ife politics.
As the Federal Lawmaker representing Ife Federal Constituency in the seventh Assembly from 2011-2015, he did his best.
I was astonished when I was campaigning for Ife Federal Constituency, House of Representative Election in 2019 when I got to a particular village around 11:33 pm in the evening on Monday, 11th February, 2019 with the Baale slept already, when he was woken up, the first statement he uttered was “Are you a Politician, because politician hardly do what you are doing at this late hours in this area.”
The Baale said, “since we had been voting, it was only Makinde that was constructing Maternity for us before it left the national assembly and the Maternity building is yet to be completed.”
On that day, Fanibe and his Campaign Team got back to Ife around 2:42 am midnight the following day.
Till date in Ifeland, he’s the only politician that single handedly distributed 150 cars across his Constituency.
