The former house of representative, Hon Rotimi Makinde has sent his congratulatory message to Senator Babajide Omoworare on his successful landing of his eight years tenure in the red chamber, Nigeria Senate.
His congratulations message reads:
Dear Senator Babajide Omoworare,
Kindly accept my sincere congratulations as my brother and leader, your two tenures as Senator representing us in the upper house. To those who may not know you as a silent achiever and a very refine gentleman who talk or writes only when it’s extremely necessary.
I am a living wittness to so many developmental achievements you contributed in our domain coupled with how you made us proud with your professionalism and pool of experience at the red chamber.
Honestly, only a brilliant and experienced politician can make such exalted engine room position as Chairman of “Ethics and Rule Committee” which you eventually lost for reason known to very few people , the “Attorney general of the house” is certainly a distinguished reserved seat for the gurus on legislative matters.
Without exaggeration, your loyalty to our great party and commitment to its’ leadership actually limited your opportunity as it does to the like of me in many ways and some of us knew your challenges. My brother, If you look back today with reference to your solid eight years in Lagos assembly, I am sure you will have reasons to thank God and your star for having smooth journeys and for successful landing hale and healthy.
I am proud to be your brother, proud to be your lieutenant proud to hornet with you as your friend.
Soon, I shall roll out those silent achievements of yours known to us but hidden to many only because you hardly praise sing yourself for you don’t fancy noise making. Your records will surely daze your haters.
“Omo Mooku, o ni ku iku ojiji..O ni di ero ehin lailai”, you have just started your political journey and be rest assured that more greater heights are in the pipeline in your favour.
Congratulations to you, congratulations to every members of our great party.
Now that you are not returning to the chamber which is not in our party interest, be rest assured history will be fair to you for you have done your best and that it will be on record that you are an achiever.
On a lighter mood, you can now have more time for your darling wife “Olabisi baby”.
Glorious welcome await you my paddy.
Regards
