Rachel Ogunyemi is a versatile and a contemporary singer with a strong range of vocals. She started singing at the age of 8 in her parents church
Rachel hails from Osu in Osun state. She started her music career professionally 2004 when she formed a music teenage group known as the fountain singers. Rachel a graduate of Theatre Arts and Music moved on to take music as her full time career as she went into the Lagos state university LASU to study Theatre Arts and Music (Bsc) in the year 2009.
She joined DClique vocals led by Maestro Demola Olota in the year 2011, where she functioned as one of the female vocalist and performed various kinds of music. She also joined the Sharpbandallstars now known as the 99allstars in the year 2013 where she also functioned as one of the female singers, performed various kinds of music and and majorly the Alujo and ting a style of music.
She has also performed with top musicians such as Tuface,Wizkid, Olamide, 9ice Alapomeji, Waje, Darey Art Alade, Olujazz, Sir Shina Peters, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Demola Olota, Gloria Ibru, Dede Mabiaku and to name a few.
Presently, she is the C.E.O of the Xcellentos band formerly known as the EXCELLENTBAND.
The band functions at weddings, birthdays, concerts, dinners and other kinds of events.
