Sahara Weekly Reports That Sadly, the fear of God is no longer obtainable among worshippers again as a member stole N20.3m from church offering box.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The presiding pastor of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Ministry narrates how a church member was arrested after stealing a cheque of N20.3M from the offering box of the church.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to Evangelist Obi Chukwuebuka Anozie, two individuals dropped a cheque each, one open cheque of N20M and another with N350K in the offering box.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A church member, however, noticed the two cheques and went home with them. The suspect was caught with the help of a fellow member whom he had quizzed on the status of the cheque.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The pastor revealed that when arrested, the suspect claimed to have found the cheque on the ground, however, refused to reveal its whereabouts nor has he confirmed cashing it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The preacher publicly urged whoever made the huge donation to the church to present themselves to assist with the ongoing investigation.
