This is coming from Benin city live! The people of Edo State are gradually getting their priorities right as they have decided to form an alliance to say no to bad governance of the present governor, Comrade Adam Oshiomhole who is being accused of neglecting basic needs of the Edo people.
Yesterday, a handful of elderly women dressed in red, many who were topless, took to the streets of Benin City in Edo State to protest against Governor Oshiomhole. According to Twitter, the women were protesting against Governor Oshiomhole’s “unbridled utterances”, the state of roads in the State, a lack of development projects, and the “unprecedented corruption” of Governor Oshiomhole’s administration.
The media aides to the governor are yet to issue a statement to counter this allegation level on their governor. Meanwhile, if what we are hearing through the office grapevine is anything to be considered, the said protest was said to have been sponsored by some certain political gladiators in the state, obviously from the opposition parties, who have promised to make the remaining season of ‘Osho Baba’ as the governor is fondly called, a tough one.
