Over N197.8million Worth of Goods Intercepted by Western Marine Command

Western Marine Command of Nigeria Customs Service have intercepted prohibited items worth over over N197.8million.

The Customs Area Controller, of the Command, Comptroller B. N. Binga said this during press briefing.

He said the items seized like cannabis sativa (Indian Hemp) and other prohibited items worth millions of naira

CAC took journalist round the Command’s warehouse where the incepted items was filled such as probiod bags of rice, second hand clothing, shoes, sugar, vegetable oil that was smuggled into the country through the creeks.

He has called on the states given allocation of the items for IDPs to evacuate the items as soon as possible.
