N20 Million Mega Plus Economic Empowerment Program: Taiwo Oyekan Supports Vulnerable Residents in Lagos Island

 

In a heartwarming gesture of community service and upliftment, the Deputy Leader of Lagos Island Local Government Legislative Arm, Hon. Taiwo Oyekan, led his team to distribute empowerment slots worth N20 million to vulnerable residents across the Lagos Island Local Government Area.

 

The initiative, held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, was targeted at widows, elderly persons, traders, artisans, technicians, and individuals living with disabilities. The empowerment program brought joy and relief to recipients, as the team visited the Isale-Eko, Olowogbowo, and Okoo Faji communities.

Empowering Communities, Changing Lives

Amidst excitement and gratitude, beneficiaries of the program applauded Hon. Oyekan for his commitment to improving lives and fostering community development. Many expressed deep appreciation for his efforts, urging him to continue his impactful work in service of humanity.
