The 62nd anniversary and investiture of the third leg in the Diamond Decade take place at IWS skills centre,Jakanda first gate, lekki, Lagos.IWS was founded in 1957 by Nigerian and non-Nigerian a non governmental organization.
IWS Nigeria is an institution presumed on the values of giving back to humanity and community ,as one Nigeria’s earliest NGO’s we have doggedly marched forward in the businesses of clarity creating an enabling environment for our targets, girls, women, children and youth.
“The clamour for gender parity, gender balance and balance for better should not be lost on us as we have just celebrated the international women’s day with striking a balance at home,at work, in every facet of our lives. This means that we must look out for one another if we want life to be purposeful and meaningful.
Our diamond decade which kick started with Mrs Ego Boyo, our 60th president and whom I have christened the blue printer because of the strategic direction derived from over 50 years of charity, the gains of which propelled the idea of restrategizing for meaningful change, was forwarded by the 61st president, Mrs Abimbola Ademola- Bawaallah for inclusiveness in a world that is fast becoming intolerant of our diversity.
IWS is now on the third leg of that relay race, the gains of 21st century technology imperatives will be brought to bear on work . And also we will enhance on infrastructure to cater to our targets.
IWS is managed by an executive committee made up of dedicated and committed professionals.
