Obafemi Owode Leaders Declare Support For Ogunsola’s Chairmanship Mandate

 

 

ABEOKUTA — Hundreds of members of All Progressive Congress APC in Obafemi Owode local government has throwed weight behind the chairmanship mandate of Hon Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina today at the party secretariat in Abeokuta, Ogun state today June, 15th 2021.

According to records, Hon Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina is the longest serving Secretary of Local Government in Ogun state with the term of eight years with landmark achievement with Engr Akeem Babatunde Adesina as the chairman.

While addressing the group who rallied solidarity for Ogunsola candidacy, the deputy state chairman of the party, assured the supporters of “no entertainment of any other person through back door aside from Hon Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina” as the chairmanship candidate in Obafemi Owode local government.

Equally, The women leader of Obafemi Owode local government, Mrs Kabira Dasaolu while addressing our reporter said the women are in total support of who the leader has picked for them, “Our leaders has not chosen a bad product to chair us in Obafemi Owode local government that is why we have confidence in their choice of Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina as our party chairman in the forthcoming poll” she said.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Yisa Adeyinka Yusuf described Hon Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina as a man of good antecedent, during his tenure as the Secretary of Local Government in Obafemi Owode local government, and after his years in office.

“Ogunsola is a very cool headed man with good records, he knows what people needs at the particular time, he has not been captured in the scene of hooliganism, thuggery and corruption before, he always give regards to the young and aged people in the society, his candidacy is supported by my person and the leaders of our local government” he said.

Also, Ogunseye Bidemi, Board Member Ogun Agro Services Corporation, also said the leaders including him are supporting Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina because of his leadership acumen to move Obafemi Owode local government to the dream land with his administrative experience over the years, he said Ogunsola will understand what the local government is needing based on the fact that he was secretary of the council for the period of eight years.

The election according to Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission is to hold on 24th of July 2021 across the state.
